I'm back!

Sunday, June 30, 2013

Wow it's been a very long time since I've last posted. I got lazy and my computer always took forever to post, so I kinda gave up. But I'm back, just not sure how long I'll keep up :( Jackson has grown so much since March. He will be 8 months on Tuesday July 2nd! He now has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom and he is crawling! Most of the time it is a bear crawl though. haha.

We are leaving for California on Wednesday, this will be our first trip with Jackson and we are flying. I'm so nervous. I haven't started to pack either, I'm pretty sure I will over pack because I do not know how to pack light and I always think I will need/wear it.

The last few days here in Federal Way, WA have been so hot, I bought my pair of shorts just in time for California. I've been wearing them lots. Yesterday we went to the Taste of Tacoma, so many people. We stayed for about 30 minutes but got some really cute family pictures in the rose garden :)

Jackson is learning his name and he will come if I say "come here." He is very very active and most days I look forward to when he takes a nap so I can too! He loves to "walk" with our help of course. He's not much of a baby food eater, or a eater in general. He has a bottle more than anything. My mom always says he is a "busy boy" haha, so very true though.
Okay enough for now.

St. Patricks Day and then some...

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Cupcakes I made. I had so much fun using food coloring, sprinkles and lucky charms!
Last year I found out I was pregnant with Jackson March 16th. It's fun to look back at last year next to this year.

Jackson in his St. Patricks Day outfit. I love these pants!

Mommy & Jackson, he actually smiled for the camera :)

My St. Patricks Day socks. My first pair ever!
Our green mashed potatoes. I love mashed potatoes!

Our dinner, we made our own corned beef in the crock pot.
Jackson is growing up so fast. He is rolling over and has one tooth in and another one that is about to pop up. He was 13 pounds 12 ounces at his 4 month check-up. He is such a happy baby. I love him so much!

Last night he slept in his bassinet from 8pm to 5am. Yes I am one of those Moms who sleeps with her baby. I know I shouldn't so that is why I put him in the bassinet. It was very hard for me and I kept checking on him.

I put away his 0-3 month onesies yesterday and it was so hard to do. I love all of them and he only got to wear them 1-2 times. He still fits in some of his pants so I kept them out. I want another little boy so he can wear all of the clothes I love so much.

Today we started the process of getting a loan to become home owners! We won't be able to move until January when our lease is up, but I am so excited to have a home for Jackson!

Valentines Day

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

I spent Valentines night with my hubby & Jackson. We watched a movie and ate our heart pizza. Tim had school at 7 and Jackson and I went to bed.
Flowers & my favorite candy from my hubby. So wasn't expecting anything.
Jackson Valentines morning in is adorable onesie.

Valentines pajamas! Funny story behind these... we bought them for one of Tim's co-workers, but decided to keep them before we were pregnant and then they ended up being the right size and for the right sex! :)

Awwww he is so adorable <3

Jackson's favorite thing to do now is suck on his hand.

Our trip to Seattle

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

One of the last weekends before I had to go back to work, I went to Seattle with Tim, Jackson and my two sisters, Michelle and Courtney and Ruby. First we went to breakfast at Beths Cafe and then we walked down to the Pier and Pikes Place Market.

Going back to work

Monday, January 21, 2013

Day 1:

Worst day of my life! I was away from Jackson for 11 hours :( My Mom picked him up at 5:30am and I left shortly after that. I stopped at Starbucks because I had a free coffee! and was in Bellevue by 6:15am. My shift starts at 7am... so I had some time to kill, the only thing is if I leave any later than I will get stuck in traffic. Boo.

I feel very out of place at work right now. They have me working in our Cypress Lounge which is the restaurant as a "greeter" and it is very slow and all I think about is how much I miss Jackson. I cried at least 3 times at work because I miss him so much. I also cried before and after work. LOL.

I was freaking out also because they wanted to give me Saturday and Sundays off... who doesn't want those days off... ME, I would have been in love with those days off before I had Jackson, but now it's all about him and I'm not going to have a stranger watch my baby and I'm not going to work to pay someone to watch him.

So I'm missing my baby like no other, my uniform doesn't fit, I feel like I'm the new person (around the time I left all the staff either quit or was promoted). and now I don't know who is going to watch Jackson for me :(

Day 2:

Day 2 wasn't so bad. In the morning Paul, the manager of Cypress was at work (he had been sick the day before.) and he taught me what I was going to be doing in the Cypress and we talked about my days off...although he really didn't need me on the weekends, he understood being a parent himself how important it is to be with my baby and not a stranger and he let me have Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday off because I had no one those days.

I will eventually go back to five days but right now I don't have anyone to watch him. Tim is in school and gets paid for going so we will be okay until June taking a pay cut and then I can pick up a night shift or maybe I'll have found someone who can watch him by then. I'm going to ask my grandma and see if she can. For now I'm happy with 3 days off. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be leaving my baby.

This week I'm only working Thursday and Friday again. Friday Jackson will be 12 weeks old! Next week I will go back full time :( I'm going to miss my baby so much, but I feel so much better knowing he will be in good hands when I'm gone AND I get an extra day with him!

Jackson in his Baby Bjorn the day we went to Seattle...more pictures to come.

New Years Eve

Sunday, January 6, 2013

This was our first New Years with Jackson. I had a very hard time leaving him, Tim's parents were in town so they watched him for us. I missed him the whole time and didn't really enjoy myself because all I could think of was him! I was also really uncomfortable in my dress! It's the one I wore last year and it just didn't fit right, nothing fits right!

Jackson all dressed up for New Years!

My happy family before we left. Ruca decided to join in the picture :)

Kelsy & I

I have a few New Years Resolutions this year...but I'm never very good at sticking with them. Here they are:

1. Not use my credit card, unless absolutely necessary.

2. Lose the last 20 pounds of baby weight, and 10 more I've been trying to lose!

3. Develop a healthy eating lifestyle... no dieting!

4. Be the best Mommy & Wifey possible!

Christmas Day

Thursday, January 3, 2013

Every Christmas Morning we go to my parents house and my Mom makes breakfast and her side of the family comes over. It's always fun to have all the cousins together. This year we added 3 babies too. 3 years ago I started a new Christmas Morning tradition where I bring everyone Starbucks in the Morning. I love this tradition.

Christmas Eve

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

Last year we started a tradition where my family comes over for Christmas Eve and we have dinner. It was a lot of fun this year because of Jackson and Ruby!

Ruby was hungry and thought Jackson was a  boob and started to suck on his forehead, then his nose and  then his lips...lol.
