Oh Johnny boy

Sunday, January 22, 2017

On Saturday we went to my cousins son's 1st birthday party at my parents house. My Mom had tables in the middle of the room for people to eat at and the kids were running around them. My poor Johnny tripped and hit his head on one of the kitchen chairs. You could hear his head hit the chair, I didn't think much of it, I went and picked him up and my grandpa's girlfriend said he was bleeding... one of the ladies at the party is a nurse and looked at it and said we should take him in because it was kind of a deep cut. Boo, party fail.

I asked my sister Courtney to drive so I can sit in the back with Johnny and keep him calm. He did great he just watched power rangers on my phone. We first went to the urgent care, I went in and asked the lady at the desk if they were able to do anything there or should I take him somewhere else. She said they could we got him all checked in and waited for maybe 30 minutes. We saw the nurse and then the physician, when he came in he told us they were not able to treat him because of his age and where the cut was on his face. He mentioned not wanting to get sued a couple of times...but he did say he wouldn't charge me so we could take Johnny to the Seattle Children's across the street. I should have thought of that first. oppps.

We go over there get checked in and don't wait very long, they bring us back in the room and tell us they are going to numb his cut and they put this stuff on it that has to sit there for 20 minutes. We go and walk around and he colors and is being so cute. When we were waiting in the room trying to kill time because they always take forever Johnny was being so sweet giving me kisses and then Courtney kisses and saying Tada about his picture. It was really the cutest thing ever, I just love this age so much.

Once back in the room they have to wrap him up in sheets so his arms can't flail around. He really didn't like this and I felt so bad, I laid down on the bed with him to try and keep him calm and to help hold him down. They had to squirt water into the cut to clean it and then be able to see how deep it really was. Thankfully it was a clean straight cut and they were able to glue it back together. He will probably still have a scar, but at least it's on his eyebrow and he is a boy.

Waiting...waiting...waiting...

I love you Johnny boy <3

This is when they put the numbing stuff on him and he had to wait 20 minutes.

All done. He was eating a outer pop.

Five on Friday...Allie's 1st Birthday Party edition

Friday, January 20, 2017

I can't believe my baby girl is almost one, February 12th. We are going to be super busy that day doing family photos in the morning and a birthday party for her in the afternoon. I'm so excited to plan a girly themed party!!!!

ONE. I got this really cute party pack with her birthday invitation and prints from this etsy shop.

TWO. This is the outfit she will be wearing for her first birthday from this etsy shop.

THREE. She will be wearing this unicorn crown I had made by craftyorina, she use to have a etsy shop, now she just sells on instagram.

FOUR. I bought this banner I am going to hang up. I think I will use it for the background of when she eats her cake. I got it from this etsy shop. I'm going to hang it in her room too when her party is over.

FIVE. I got a really cute pack of fans to hang on the wall from target, but I can't find them on the website, I had bought white and gold stripped straws from there too, but I don't know where they went. I don't think I even brought them out of the van, but I don't see them in there either so I will have to look a little harder. For cups I have some leftover from other parties! I haven't decided for the plates and napkins if I want to get the unicorn ones from Target or go with solid colors. I'm trying not to go too overboard but I love that I get to do a girl birthday party finally :)

I never want to forget

Wednesday, January 18, 2017

I love taking pictures, but sometimes in the moment I don't run and grab my phone or camera to get a picture. There are a few things I don't want to ever forget that has happened recently.

On Christmas morning after opening all of the presents we were in the kitchen, Jackson Johnny and I opened up our Christmas glass bottle cokes and we cheers and it was so cute.

Lately we've been asking Johnny "did you poop" and he will say "no, Allie poop" or when we change his wet diaper he will say "no poop" and he is all excited.

The other night Johnny was sitting next to me with his finger in his nose "it's stuck" he had a piece of candy stuck in his nose. Jackson had got the candy with the soda cans and one of those candies was in his nose. I had to hold him while time took the tweezers to his nose and get the candy out.

Yesterday while Jackson slept on the couch and Johnny watched TV in his room I got some one on one time with Allie hanging out on my bed. We played and giggled and cuddled and then took a nap. It was perfect.
I snapped this before I fell asleep <3

Jackson is always telling me "I miss you" and yesterday he told me " I love you" and it melted my heart.

Last night we were watching a movie on the couch and Johnny fell asleep all cuddled up on me and then later that night Allie did the same thing. I love cuddling with my babies. Jackson is always asking me to sit with him or to lay with him too. I love that they want to cuddle with me.

The other day Allie was constipated and all she wanted to do was cuddle! I felt so bad for her but it was so nice getting to lay on the couch with her. We passed out pretty early on the couch that night. I'll take a cuddle session whenever I can get it because it's few and far between with this girl.

Five on Friday

Friday, January 13, 2017

ONE. I was going through my shutterfly today and found these pictures from my maternity shoot with Johnny and I can't believe how little Jackson was.

TWO. I think this may be the only picture I have of all three kids by the Christmas tree. Also our tree only looked good for the first day before the little ones woke up from their nap. Then the ornaments kept coming off and I was too lazy to put them back on.
allie kept putting the ornaments in her mouth.

THREE. Starbucks Greek yogurt I was very unsure about trying it because I don't like Greek yogurt, I tried it the other day and I'm in love with it. Once you mix in the strawberries and the granola it is actually very good! It's way over priced but does have 15 grams of protein!

FOUR. I've been watching Gilmore Girls. My new favorite. I never finished watching it years ago, I don't even remember what season I watched last. After watching the new one on Netflix I decided I was going to go backwards so I watched the last season, then when I went to watch the season before it didn't make sense...duh. So I decided to start from the beginning and so I'm almost done with Season One!!!
the way they dress and their hair makes me laugh.

FIVE. Allie, this girl was so happy on Tuesday, it was crazy. She has been teething and sick and she is finally starting to feel better! She had a smile on her face all day. How I love this baby girl so much.
eating her banana, not a care in the world.

could you be any more adorable.

Goals for 2017

Sunday, January 8, 2017

I have a lot of goal for this next year. Last year was all about surviving 3 kids, now that it has been almost a year it's time I start to work on some other things too.

My main goal is to become CONSISTENT. I always start something do really well for a couple of days and then go back to the way it was before.

One thing I am determined to do this year, hopefully by September before our Mexico trip is to lose the rest of my baby weight! It has been 3 years since I have been my normal weight and I miss it so much. I have 27 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight of 140. After having Johnny I lost 25 pounds and then got pregnant with Allie. I have finally lost all of the weight I gained with Allie so now I'm working on my Johnny weight. LOL, 2 years later :)
this was our Hawaii trip a few months before I was pregnant with Jackson. I weighed 134, probably the best shape of my life. MOTIVATION.

Last week I made it to the gym 4 times!!! Monday step class, Tuesday step class, Wednesday weight class and Thursday kickboxing class. I'm going to try 4 days a week now and once it gets nice out I want to go on runs and start adding family walks or adventures on the weekend.
from one of our walks in the early summer

My eating is another big thing I need to work on. I know how I should eat, but I really don't like to cook and meal planning is a big thing too, but I really don't like doing that. But this year is the year I'm making changes and I'm going to try and be CONSISTENT and start to cook my dinners and meal plan. Tomorrow I'm starting the 21 day fix meal plan and I've already planned the week and will be going shopping today. Wish me luck. I'm ready to kick this weight!

Keeping the house cleaner is another thing I'm going to work on. My husband is a neat freak and it drives him crazy how the house is never clean. It's not that I don't clean, it's that we have 3 small kids who mess it up like it's nothing. I'm going to try and do something everyday after I get home from the gym, either a load of laundry, pick up toys, clean the bathroom ect. so that it doesn't all fall on my days off.

I really love this and wish my husband was more about this cleaning style :)

I also want to do more for myself. Maybe I can finish a book this year...or work on my scrapbooks more. I want to learn how to design this blog better and I've also got a lot of classes from the brit + co I want to take.

https://www.brit.co/shop/classes/
here is one of the classes I'm waiting to take when I have some time!

I'm also going to be going through my scrapbook room and turning into Allies room this year. I was going to wait until she was older, but I have no time to work in there and when I try the kids follow and make a bigger mess then it already is. I've decided I will spread all my stuff through out the house in all the closets and work on my stuff on the dining room table. That way I am where they are and I might be able to do a lot more of my crafts that way! Also I can't wait to put Allie's room together this will be so much fun!

So that is what I'm going to be working on this year. I know I can do it, I just have to be CONSISTENT!!!!

Five on Friday

Friday, January 6, 2017

This is my first Five on Friday!

ONE. I really want to get this book and see what it is all about!

TWO. I'm on a mission to lose the rest of my baby weight this year! I would like to lose 27 more pounds. I'm going to try the 21 day fix meal plan...we will see how well I can stick to it. and I've been going to the community center. I went 4 times this week, that's my goal for now and once it warms up I would like to add some runs. We are going to Mexico in September for a friends wedding so that is my motivation!

THREE. essential oils, I've been using the doterra for awhile now, but I still don't really know how to use them. My Mom gave me the onguard for Christmas in the big spray bottle to clean with. I used it in the tub and liked it. This year I'm really hoping to learn how to use them more efficiently . I've been ordering some every month but they just sit in my box. I really like to follow grapefruit gold on instagram, but it's for young living so they have some different ones.

FOUR. I'm having craftyorina on instagram make custom flower crowns for me and Allie to wear in our next family photos. She sent me a sneak peak and I'm so excited to see them finished.

FIVE. I'm wrapping up with a cute picture of Allie at Target and my #bestnine from instagram.

Thursday, January 5, 2017

Happy New Years! I had to work New Years Eve in the morning, that night we went to dinner with my sister and her boyfriend and niece to The Rock our favorite place to eat.
