Happy New Years! I had to work New Years Eve in the morning, that night we went to dinner with my sister and her boyfriend and niece to The Rock our favorite place to eat. After dinner she came over with my niece and played guitar hero with Tim and I fell asleep watching them play. They woke me up in time to do the count down and then I fell back to sleep. I ended up have New Years day off which was nice. I don't really remember what we did, probably cleaned.

The Holidays

On December 17th we went to our friend Meghan and Boston's Christmas party. Here is a picture of me and Allie from that. She is just too cute :)

This was Christmas Eve, they never really want to take a good picture unless I'm trying to take some of Allie, then they want one too.

 

 
Here is my little model baby. She was done taking pictures, but this one actually turned out pretty well.

They didn't want to give me a smile one, so I got a whole bunch of making face ones.

 

Christmas morning. Daddy decided it was a good idea to put baby powder all over the floor and make it look like Santa walked in it... Allie threw up on Christmas Eve :(

 

Johnny wasn't having it Christmas day when we were at my parents house. I did forget his blanket so that was a big part of the problem. we were there from about 10:30am to 6:30ish I believe. A very long day.

That sums up our holidays for the most part. They were sick for a lot of this month. I'm hoping we can go to celebration lane tonight,it's the last nigh. I got to watch about half of my Christmas movies, I kinda got my Christmas jammie pictures of them. Maybe we will do zoo lights tomorrow night. We will see.

• Santa Claus---we've already gone once. we have an appointment to go with Ruby on December 12th and we are hoping to fit in one more time with Ruby, Paisley & Bradley...our yearly tradition.
• Snowflake Lane in Bellevue
• Zoo lights either Seattle or Tacoma
• Watch all of our Christmas movies

 

 

and I think that's pretty much it. I don't think we could do much more since I work so much. We will be going to Tim's work party, Camden's 1st birthday party & Meghan and Boston's Christmas party this month. We have to miss out on Shana and Kurt's ugly Christmas sweater party because it is on the same day as Tim's work party & Camden's 1St birthday party which we only get to stop by for :(


On Christmas Eve we will have my family over for a ham dinner and open up some of the Christmas presents. Christmas day we will open the kids presents and then go to my parents house where my mom's side of the family will be over and we breakfast and do presents. I'll bring coffee for my family in the morning from Starbucks, it has turned into a tradition! In the evening my grandma, my dad's mom will come over for dinner.


I'm hoping to get some fun Christmas jammie pictures of the kids and I have some really cute outfits for Allie to wear too, she just started to walk too so it's hard to get her to sit still. boo. Wish me luck.


Oh I love the holiday season. I'm not sure what we will do for New Years, I will work the next morning so nothing too crazy.

Never enough time...

Lately I've been so overwhelmed with life. Keeping the house clean, running errands, me time, husband time, kid time...it just never really feels like I have enough time for all. I feel like I'm losing myself because I always put my family and work first. I'm losing my creative side...all I want to do is read a book or work on a scrapbook. I can't even go into my craft room anymore, it is so messy, but one or all of the kids are always following me in there and then makes it worst then when I started.


Being a Mom is hard work especially when you work full time and commute. I try to keep up with everything but I get TIRED. I know it's all worth it to have my sweet babies. They are my everything and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I just need to learn how to balance it all better. Do I choose to get up a couple hours before them on my day off or do I sleep in? Do I start enforcing a bed time?


And my biggest flaw of all that only brings me down is comparing myself to my friends, to the ladies on instagram and to my old self. Even to other blog Moms...I suck I know. and now to get back to work :) thanks for letting me vent

Allie Grayson Ayers Birth Story...

I went to the doctors on February 11th for my 38 week appointment. I was 3 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced. My doctor was on vacation so I had the midwife. I asked her if she could scrap my membranes and she did! I thought I would have her in a couple of days because that’s what happened when I had Johnny. I also had to be monitored for 20 minutes after my appointment to make sure she was moving around.

Wednesday I was so busy at work making sure that I had everything done, hoping I wouldn’t be back on Friday, because I wanted to have her on Friday the 12th since I knew the due date and that I would be over 38 weeks by then. Anyways once I got home from work I thought about it and I didn’t remember her moving like she usually does, I called the nurse and had to lay on my left side and make sure she moved 5 times in an hour, she did. 

Back to Thursday, I had a hair appointment at 3:45pm I went to that and left there around 5:30pm and ordered Thai food for dinner (it’s Tim & I’s 10 years together on 02/11. I think I had started to get a few contractions then, I remember googling how to know real contractions vs. braxton hicks. When I got home I told Tim I thought I might be in labor. We ate dinner and started watching House. About 7:30ish Tim went and took a shower, I painted my nails and got all of my stuff together. 

We dropped the boys off at my parents around 8:30pm and my Mom followed us to the hospital. I got into the tirage room around 9:15pm. My contractions weren’t too bad then, by the time she was done asking me all the questions they were 2-3 minutes apart. They checked me and i was only 3.5 centimeters dilated, they wanted to send me home, I said NO. So I stayed in the tirage room for about an hour and a half and they checked me again, I was the same but 80% effaced now. They had me wait a little longer. They were also monitoring us because they didn’t like what they were seeing on the heart rate monitor.  

After a little bit I had her check me again and I was 4 centimeters dilated, she went and asked the delivering midwife if I could go to the delivery room and they finally let me! It was around 11:30pm. Before we went up to the delivery room I kept telling her I wanted my epidural ASAP. They told me I had to get an IV and do something else. Thankfully they did it for me in the tirage room. 

When we finally go to my delivery room they gave me some pain medicine in the IV and the contractions started to feel a little better. Tim went to the truck to get our bags and when he was gone my water broke. I felt a pop and then all this water coming out. This was worst then when my water broke with Jackson. After they got me all cleaned up the epidural guy got there and gave it to me. 

He was too late though, because my water broke and it sped up everything. When I was trying to lay back down on the bed after the epidural I was having contractions worst than before I got the epidural. My vagina hurt so bad too, I kept telling them it hurt, they checked and said I was ready to go. I don't remember how long I pushed for, it wasn't too long and I remember saying the epidural didn't work I can still feel it. LOL. I was pretty upset that it didn't kick in before it was time to have her.


My biggest fear is always that I won't get my epidural in time, and that happened. What makes it even worse is that I had been there for hours and they were being stubborn about moving me to the delivery room. If they had sooner than my epidural would have kicked in in time. boo.


The first thing I said after she was out, is it a girl...I was so paranoid she was going to be a boy. LOL. We forgot my brand new camera in the car and I was pretty bummed, all of the pictures of her are from our cell phones and I was so out of it I forgot to take some pictures that I would usually take. Oh well.


I am so in love with this little girl, she is pretty amazing <3

Jackson, Johnny & Allie

Jackson: He is three and a half now and is so grown up. He can do a lot for himself but also wants everyone else to do it for him. If he wants milk all you will hear from his is milk, miLK, MILK. We are working on that with him. We're also working on please and thank you. But he is the sweetest boy ever, he always says I miss you mom and cuddles up to me <3 He's been having a harder time when I leave lately too. Last night we went out for my sisters birthday and he started crying not wanting me to go and asking why :( He still won't poo in the toilet so we have to put a diaper on him to poo and he wears his undies during the day and a pull up during the night.

Johnny: He is one and a half and this boy is TROUBLE! He loves to get on the kitchen chairs and get into everything. He has gotten into the formula a few times :( He loves to say mama mama, it's so cute. He has become such a mamas boy since Allie has been born. He likes to cuddle with me now :) He also loves his lawn mower and pushes it everywhere. And loves to throw rocks. He is also learning how to talk and has been saying so much. Yesterday he kept saying lets go, lets go so we took a walk to the 7/11 by our house. He wanted to go to the beach because daddy had taken him their the other day when I had taken the other two to a baby shower.

Allie: She is just so cute. She just turned 4 months 06/12. She is starting to hold on to her toys and blanket a lot now. She likes to drink her bottle laying down in her nap nanny propped up with a blanket more than if you are holding her and feeding her. She has already been to two baby showers both for little boys, Archer and Bradley :) She went to the zoo for the first time a couple weekends ago. She loves the fart noise and always smiles when she hears it. Daddy is probably her favorite and she adores her brothers. He laugh is the cutest!

 

 

Whenever it's nice out we like to take the kids on walks either to the 7/11 by our house or we will go to different parks near the house. It's a lot of fun and a good way to get my steps in :)
